We seem to be back into the swing of things already! We started off the day with our regular routine. Our spelling word was "potion", and our "First," was for a story "How to Make a Snowman". What is my topic if I start out my paragraph with "First, you need to have the right kind of snow." What will my two detail sentence be about? Can you make two detail sentences about "the right kind of snow"? (Make sure, If you, the best). This week we are doodling a cone of ice cream. Everyday our drawings are getting better and better! Before language arts we watched a jib jab with some of the students faces. I ended up getting a snowball in the face in the movie! How rude! In language arts with Mrs Hill we worked on our small moments peice of writing, read from our chapter book, and worked on daily 5 activities (word work, read to self, write to self, listen to reading, buddy reading). After a nice outdoor lunch we had hot lunch. I love pizza! We skipped computer today and talked about why "Feet Never Touch Anyones Face". We also baked some cookies with my secret recipe before gym. In Gym with Mrs. Hache worked on some gymnastics moves. After PE we ate our cookies with a dab of ice cream. We wrote in our book of gratitude and packed up to go home. Get lots of rest, dress warm and I will see you in the morning!
