It was a regular day at Ian Baillie Primary.  We started off the day with a sharing circle to tell about our weekends.  Our spelling word was "symphony" and our "How to" Warm up was for "How to Rock a Sleepover".   We doodled a BB8 and had some floride before going to language arts with Mrs. Hill.  In language arts we did recount stories of our weekend and some guided reading.  There was choir at little recess for those who sing.  In Math we reviewed starting at any digit and counting on by 10 (7, 17, 27,37,47,57,67,77, 87, 97).  We counted small amounts of pennies nickels and dimes with a friend.  We had a listening quiz to write numbers in an invisible place value chart, and worked on showing numbers with base ten blocks (or tally marks and periods).  After lunch we had PE with Mrs. Hache.  She worked on some yoga poses and stretches.  Then in Art we used water colors to paint the tulips we drew last week.  We finished off the day practicing our song for the music festival and doing our book of gratitude.  The playground is still very wet.  I hope we are done with ski-pants (but watch the weather forcast) and intoisplash pant and rubber boots!  Stay dry, stay warm, stay healthy, get lots of sleep, and I will see you tomorrow!
