It was a beautifully warm day today at Ian Baillie!  We started off the day with our regular routine.  Our spelling word was "understanding" and our story was "How to be a good student".  We doodled a mouse with a cracker and went straight into Math.  We did a math listening quiz.  We did Flash Cards with a friend, and we learned about gathering and showing data.  We gathered data using tally marks and showed our data using a bar graph.  It was amazing how well the graphs turned out for the first day.  In language arts with Mrs. Hill we worked on our assessments.  After lunch the day flew by!  We went to the computer lab, we had PE with Mrs. Hache, we read from "The One and Only Ivan", and we packed our agenda's with notes as we wrote in our book of gratitude.   It was very hot today, but I believe it is calling for rain tomorrow and 14 degrees.  Dress appropriately.  Get lots of sleep and I will see you in the morning.
