We started out the day by releasing our butterflies!  I opened the net and one flew away immediately and we all watched as it flew higher and higher until it was out of sight!  The other few butter flies stayed in the net and took their time to adjust to the temperature.  We placed the net where we could see it from the window and went inside to finish our work.  There is more to this story, but not all stories have a happy ending, do you know what happened later?  Our spelling word was "counsellor" and our letter was addressed "Dear Camp Counsellor,".  We doodled an alien and went to language arts.  In language arts we did a descriptive paragraph about butterflies!  What can you say about a butterfly?  After an indoor recess we had math.  We did a review of place value, pattern relations, and addition.  After an indoor lunch (we had a great thunderstorm), we went to the computer lab.  After computer we had PE.  Miss Zellers was in for Mrs. Hache and we played some games.  We finished off the day looking at pictures of our field trip yesterday.  We lost track of time and didnt get to do our book of gratitude!  The students were very sad when the bell rang that we missed it.  Get lots of sleep tonight and I will see you in the morning!
