Congratulations to Ian Baillie staff and students for raising $260.00 by collecting recycled bottles.  This money will be donated to the Red Cross relief efforts in Japan.  Good work Ian Baillie!

The Miramichi Kinsmen and School District 16 are pleased to accept film entries for the first annual Kin Film Festival.  All School District 16 students are invited to participate.  Films can be submitted in one of two categories: Open and The Kinsmen Category.  The top 10 films in each category will be screened on May 7th, 2011 at Miramichi Empire Studio 5.  Cash prizes of $500, $250 and $100 will be awarded for the winners in each category.   Visit the Kin Film Fest page for more information.

The grade one classes will now go sliding on Friday during their dinner hour. As well, crazy hair day will be included in Fridays events.

A huge thank you goes out to the Home and School Committe and all of the parents at Ian Baillie Primary School. We really enjoyed the potluck and the treats during Teacher Appreciation Week. We truly feel appreciated.
