The children are settling into their routines each day. Today we did three rounds of the Daily Five. The students are reading to self for 7 minutes independently. Our aim in grade two is no less than 25 minutes/session. We also began write to self  and had a great start.   In math we continue to work on patterns . We are creating and identifying the core of patterns and looking at patterns as they occur in nature.         I ask that your child bring in their home link duo tangs each day so they can be marked. Also our class has been on the National Geographic web site.
