I would like to say thank you to all of my students for the beautiful cards, flowers, gifts, cake and well wishes. I appreciate them all. I really enjoyed my time at Ian Baillie and I wish all of you a great year to follow. We had a great time in the afternoon as a farewell. Thank You!

Dear Parents/Guardians,
I would like to inform you that my last day of teaching Grade 3 will be Friday, April 7, 2017. I was filling in for Mrs. Keenan, as she was out on maternity leave. She is due to return on Monday, April 10, 2017 and will continue the year with the class. She has been teaching elementary at Blackville School for the last few years. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ian Baillie and will miss the students dearly. Although I would love to finish out the year with the students, I will visit with them from time-to-time. I want to thank all of you for your support over the year and for the well wishes that I have been receiving.

Last week our Grade 3 class went to Dairy Queen on a field trip. We had a great time! I'm so glad that I got to join them before I leave :)

Report cards will be going home with your child today. I would ask that you send back the last page of the report signed in the envelope provided. I will also include a designated time for a parent-teacher interview if you wish to attend.

We had two Star Writers this month, Nate Kelly and Angelina Simpson. Nate wrote a wonderful 'How to..." adding lots of details and numerous wow words. Angelina wrote about the 'Awesome Prank' which included exciting details and flawless editing. Great job writers!

Just a reminder that there is a few notes and permission slips that need to come back. Please send in your permission slips for Dairy Queen along with the money if you haven't done so already. Also, send in your Stem Fair sheets if you are participating and your lunch order for Pita Pit for this Friday. I thank you in advance :)

Tyler Dennis, Emma Gifford, Angelina Simpson and Nate Kelly were our Listning Award winners this month. They are always listening and ready to work. Great job!
