Reading Buddies by ThomasWhat a great day!  Computers, tennis, spiderman, a coast gaurd rescue, and more!  We started out the day with our regular opening routine.  For our "Show NOT tell" we wrote about a crazy elf!  I hope we have a wild elf, and not a crazy elf.  In math we worked on using friendly numbers to help us estimate.  Friendly numbers usually have zero's in them.  What friendly numbers would you use to help you estimate 68+31= ??  We had choir at little recess.  After little recess we had language arts.  How is your letter coming?  We went outside at lunch today.  Im glad I had ski-pants!  Its cold and wet outside for someone that doesnt, and I wouldnt want to get sick this close to Christmas, so dress warm!  After lunch we jumped on the bus and went to the Linden Rec Center to play tennis!  When we got back we finished up some writing in the book of gratitude, and headed to the computer lab to explore www.schooltube.com.  I cant believe it is Friday tomorrow already!  Get lots of sleep and I will see you in the morning.
