This is shaping up to be a busy week. On Thursday and Friday we will have our first fundraiser for our trip to Magnetic Hill zoo in June. Owen tells us he will be bringing in Cinnamon bread, sounds delicious! Cameron tells us he is bringing in Gingerbread men and Paint Box cookies, yummy!Tomorrow our class will be going skating at the Lord Beaverbrook Arena at 10:45. As well there will be an assembly at 9:30 called "Mad Science," should be interesting. Volunteers will be here on Thursday morning to carry out the "I'm Thumbody" program.
Baby Will was in yesterday to visit our class. He looked at all the faces staring at him and started to pout, but soon became comfortable with his new friends. We sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to him. He can turn over and hold his head up. Baby Will responds to his name. He is adorable, we look forward to seeing him next month.
In math class we are counting dimes, nickels, quarters and loonies. We are learning to cup stack in gym class.

November 9th
Our guidance counsellor taught us to treat everyone with respect he also told us it is important to raise our hand when we want to talk. Owen and Ricky were chosen to lay the wreath at the Remembrance Day Ceremony. Assiah and Asia will hand out the programs at the ceremony. We made cards for Mrs. Harper's father, Mr. Preston. Mr. Preston is a veteran of World War II. Cameron decorated the envelope that we put the cards in. Shannon decorated the gift box that his present was put in. In Science we planted bean seeds in clear plastic cups so we can watch the seeds germinate. In math we played Buzz. You say Buzz when you count and you land on a number that is a multiple of 2, 5, 10 or 25. In gym we are cup stacking and learning to dance to the tune "car wash"
November 10th
Today we will be walking to Saint Michael's cementary to lay a wreath at Mr. Theodore Milson's and Louis Walsh's grave. Both men are veterans of World War II.
