We did it!  We survived the first week of kindergarten!  It has been an exciting and busy week.  We started to fill up our 100th Day fish bowl and we now have 4 yellow fish in our bowl.  We had a visit to the computer lab and had our first school assembly.  We survived our first fire drill and as one student said "it was a piece of cake"!  The week flew by and we had lots of fun getting to know one another and settling into our kindergarten routines.I have a feeling this is going to be a wonderful and adventurous year!

Today is day # 27 here in our kindergarten class!  We added another white fish to our 100th Day fish bowl.  In writing, we wrote stories about Halloween!  It was for a contest and only 2 people get their stories chosen to be in our school booklet!  I wonder who is going to win! Our line leader was Rowan and our caboose was Cole. We had a great Monday!

Today we travelled over to Croft Elementary School to visit their Heritage Fair.  We got to learn about Acadien history, antiques, and got to watch dances from different cultures such as Native American, Scottish and Irish.  We got to see some farm animals and have a drink of warm apple cider.  It was a great day!

We had a very busy day today after our extra long Thanksgiving weekend.  This morning we had You and Your World with Mr. Lange, Gym, and Music.  We added a new word, the, to our Word Wall!  We have been in school now for 23 days!!!  Wow!  So far in our 100th day Fish Bowl we have 10 yellow, 10 blue, and 3 white fish. We read a silly story called Stanley the Skeleton.  We all thought it was really cool since we have a Stanley in our class! Our line leader today was Cole and our caboose was Kaitlin. We were all very happy to see each other after being off for 5 days and had many stories to share!
