Today we had our Remembrance Day ceremony in the gym.  We liked seeing the soldiers.  Their medals were cool.  We liked the flags they were holding.  Jonnathan Carey even had his picture taken with one of the soldiers.  We liked the pictures Mr. Lange showed us.  There was a picture of Mr. Preston and Mr. Gallant.  We like all the songs that the boys and girls were singing.  We sang "Peace in My Heart".  We really, really liked them.  Jonathan Poirier and Josh Mercure were chosen to set the wreath on the stage.  They did a very good job.  We all had fun. I had a good day at school.  Today was fun outside because I played with Josh, Liam and Ethan.   It was really fun.  In music we sang "Peace in My Heart".  It was really fun becuase I liked it.  When we were away from Mrs. McCarthy Ethan and I did our own song.  It was called Chess.  We are going to sing it tomorrow in gym.  We had lunch.  RIght now we are typing about my whole day.  It was a good day.  It was really fun.  I loved class today.  It was fun too.  Hailie is a nice girl.  Today was really fun.  Our whole classroom is very nice, so are the teachers. I got a drive to school today with my mom.  We went to the gym for an assembly.  I got an award for good listening.  At snack time I ate my bag of cheesies and I played vampire tag.  We went back to our classroom and we had Mrs. Somers because Mr. Lange was not here.  We played hunting on the slide.  I played with Hayden.  Then I got my pants wet!  This afternoon we had a school Halloween dance in the gym.  We also went through a spooky haunted house.  It was fun and scary.  I had a good day.  Today was show and tell and I brought a monster jam truck.  It was a good day. In the morning we played graveyard in the gym.   Today was very fun because we chased Ethan outside and I played with Jordanna, Ethan and Noah Dickson. We had a visitor and she was a witch and she read us a story.  She asked some questions  and she got bit by a vampire.  I am going to be a vampire for Halloween.  At lunch time I had fun with Jordanna and Hailie.  After lunch we did math.  Nathan and Josh were in my group.  We had number 7.  We were writing this note too. Today was a nice day.  When I got off the bus Laura and I played in the gym.  At play time I had fun playing with Ethan, Jordanna, Noah D., Liam, Emma and Noah Y.  We played dogs and I had fun with playdough.  I had fun in music class.  We played a mouse and kitty game.  If the mouse got caught you had to lay with your hands and feet in the sky.  I had fun writing in my journal.  I wrote about Candy Land.  I also had fun doing read to self.  I am a good reader.  In the gym I had a fun watching Ethan , Jordanna and Emma dancing and singing. I had a very fun day.  I liked playing in the gym.  We played the witch game.  It was very fun.  I lilked playing in the classroom during lunch hour with the lego.  The lego was fun.  I liked reading with Mrs. Noel.  I am a very good reader.  This afternoon we made pumpkins in math class.  It was fun.  I liked listening to the song with Mr. Murphy.  I liked playing with Noah inside the classroom.  It was fun.  I had a good day.  By:  Nathan Sheffer

I had a nice day today. I had lots of fun playing with Brendan.  We played fun stuff over by the trees on the playground.  We had fun.  Today I had fun playing in the gym.  We played Bulldozers and Builders.  We had to knock the pylons down and pick them up.  I had to run from the girls at recess.  That was not fun.  I had fun writing about Halloween. In the morning when I came to school we watched Scooby Doo in the gym.  I did the morning announcements.  It was fun doing them with Kaitlyn.  She is in grade three.  Outside on the playground  I played Pokemon with Noah D. and I played puppies with Logan.  I was getting on the teeter totter and Austin got off and then "KABANG" it hit me on the cheek.  It was an accident.  I was crying and I went to a teacher and she helped me.  The bell rang and Seth's sister helped me too.  Mommy came to the school and checked my boo-boo.  I had a good afternoon.  It was fun playing the number game. I had an awesome day today!  I had fun in music.  I liked playing outside with Emma and Emma.  I also had fun with Ethan.  We played Tag and Ethan was It.  Steve and Brendan were playing tag with us too.  I had fun in the classrom doing Read to Partner. Heritage Day at Croft Elementary

Wow!  We had a fantastic day at the Heritage Fair.  First we visited the Grade Five classroom.  They taught us all about the Acadians and what life was like for them many years ago.  Following that presentation we had the opportunity to learn about quilting and examine the many different beautiful quilts.  There was even a quilt that was made by the students from Mme. Sheppard's Grade Four class.  Next the Grade Ones showed us many different tools that were used in the pioneer home.  Some of the items we saw were a washboard to clean clothing, spinning wheel to make yarn, and a broom carved from a log.  Our favorite event was going outside to see the farm animals.  The farmer had goats, donkey, chickens, sheep and a miniature horse.  We even got to taste apple cider!  It was a wonderful field trip!
